Iconic Resourcing's Commitment to Sustainability

We’ve always set out to doing things the Iconic Way. This means supporting our candidate community as they search for their next opportunity, working closely with employers, and nurturing our own team. However, our commitment extends beyond these relationships; it also encompasses our responsibility to the environment.

While our work primarily takes place in offices, through phone calls, video conferences, and face-to-face meetings, we recognise that every industry has a role to play in protecting our planet. We are dedicated to creating a positive impact not only for our clients, candidates, and team members but also for the wider world as we strive towards net-zero emissions.
 
In 2024, as we celebrated our fifth anniversary, Iconic Resourcing worked on a project in collaboration with external consultants to map out our journey to Net Zero. This initiative reflects our determination to minimise our environmental footprint and set a positive example within the recruitment industry.

Our Sustainability Goals

Net Zero by 2045

We are committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2045. This ambitious goal drives all our sustainability efforts and underscores our dedication to long-term environmental responsibility.

Baseline Emissions

Our baseline emissions will be published by April 2025. This crucial step will allow us to measure our progress accurately and make informed decisions about future initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

We acknowledge that our current strategy is a step in the right direction, not a perfect solution. We are committed to continually seeking out ways to reduce our negative impact and enhance our positive contributions to the environment.

Our Approach

Being a service-based business with no physical products to transport, and an office-based setup with negligible waste emissions, we have unique challenges and opportunities in our sustainability journey. We focus on areas where we can make a meaningful difference.

Energy Efficiency

Implementing energy-saving practices in our offices and encouraging hybrid work and accessibility of public transport options to reduce commuting emissions.

Sustainable Partnerships

Working with environmentally-conscious suppliers and partners to support broader sustainability goals.

Educating and involving our team in sustainability initiatives to create a culture of environmental responsibility.
